- Haitian government figures indicated the disease killed more than 5,500 people and sickened more than 363,000 others since discovered in October 2010.
- Since mid-October when cholera was first confirmed in the Artibonite region of Haiti in Mirebalais, over 1,000 people have died and over 14,000 people have been hospitalized.
